Got these two matching bikes as a pair. Converted one and not sure what to do about the second one. Frames were in great shape. Tried to keep this build cheap, reused as much as I could. Splurged on the handlebar tape b/c it matches the tire sidewalls. No lockring, just rotafixed after redishing. Yes that is a BB lockring on the inside, being used as a spacer for chainline. Kept the shifters b/c they look and feel nice. Amazing, buttery-smooth ride. Heavy though. I thought the triple-butted tubing would be light but the stays are heavy, as is the fork. Built tough like a touring bike should be.
Update: This bike no longer exists. It has metamorphosized into the Univega Fx.
