I forgot

I made this bicycle for my friend Nora out of an old ugly Gitane road frame. I filed all braze-ons off and removed the horizontal dropouts and rear brake bridge. I tightened up the geometry and added some track ends (with bottle openers). I wanted to give this bicycle an equestrian theme since my friend rides horses so I made a custom bridge that looks like a horse shoe. I also made a horse skull headbadge and used spur straps as toe staps.

i actually had a really vivid image of that crank/chainring combo while sleeping last night.
beautiful!

Dropouts

Where did you get those track ends? They're way sweeter than the PaulComps with built in chain tensioners.

Wonderful

This is the best bike I've ever seen in my life.

This is what cycling is all about

Bravo on building a great *real* bike. Your idea for the toe straps is my favorite touch.
