But this bike would look way better as a road bike with period components. Doesn't anyone respect the vintage road frames anymore? All these conversions done to spectacular framsets. To me it's a shame. I used to have a Bottechia with full Mavic. I'm sure it's been bastardized and is locked to some parking meter outside some coffee shop somewhere. I wish Greg would let me post my photos so you would be able to appreciate a nice '80's vintage road machine.
