I got this bike for off craigslist. Converted it to singlespeed (52x20), then decided to take the plunge and go fixed 48x18. I'll probably keep it fixed, 1) b/c I'm too lazy to flip the wheel, and 2) I feel a lot safer being able to slow down with my feet, especially since there is only 1 hand position from which I can safely brake.
Update: This bike has been cannibalized to supply my Univega.
