Great design by Marc Newson, very nice ride. The frame is made of super plastic aluminum - a moldable type aluminum. the two halves are then bonded, not glued, to maintain strength and integrity. geometry: top tube 22", seat tube 19" hub to hub 42", tires are 26 x 1.75 Vredestein Scarab

What's the drive train?

What's the drive train?

Er, that is, since it's a single speed, is it a fixie? What's the gear ratio?

Not sure on drivetrain, it's

Not sure on drivetrain, it's a single speed but not fixie. In fact, I want to convert to fixie but haven't figured how to do it yet....

you would just have to find

you would just have to find a 26 inch fixie wheel.
and you dont have to worry about the back brake, as it will be fixed (duh?)

Crazy weird... but I dig it.

Crazy weird... but I dig it. :-)

awsome!

It's hard to tell but what is the geometry like? Does it have alot of frame flex? Could you take it off road?

re: ivebeenfixed

there really isn't any frame flex i can notice - it's very stiff and handles very well. Off road? - now way, it's solely a street bike. geometry: top tube 22", seat tube 19" hub to hub 42", tires are 26" x 1.75"

That's Gnarly!

Looks like a piece of some pre-WWII machinery
