i need a new frame for this setup, and it will be pretty sweet. the big knobby 29er tire doesn't fit in the back of the frame, had to go hybrid for now, but plan to get a 700x35 cross tire. little bit of toe overlap, but otherwise good for commuting, touring, and jumping off of crap. it's still a surprisingly light ride and great for climbing. the lower gear ratios are kind of silly. i hardly ever use them, but i have had to drop into the lowest gear before to climb some crazy stuff. i recently dubbed this ride "the hybri-9er"
