aluminum trek 7200 bought for at a church sale

specialized aluminum bars, dimension stem

surly karate monkey, FSA pig headset

WTB dual-duty with WTB 29er tire

WTB dual-duty with a 700x35 cross knobby. Kenda Kross or Ritchey Trail Mix

icon cranks, new shimano BB

WTB speed V

pyramid pedals and clips/straps, sram chain

32 and 22 rings in the front protected by an e-thirteen bashguard, an sram wide range cassette on the back.

i need a new frame for this setup, and it will be pretty sweet. the big knobby 29er tire doesn't fit in the back of the frame, had to go hybrid for now, but plan to get a 700x35 cross tire. little bit of toe overlap, but otherwise good for commuting, touring, and jumping off of crap. it's still a surprisingly light ride and great for climbing. the lower gear ratios are kind of silly. i hardly ever use them, but i have had to drop into the lowest gear before to climb some crazy stuff. i recently dubbed this ride "the hybri-9er"

AWESOME!

I have a 92 Trek 7900 hybrid running knobby 700x45 Panaracers. They clear the seat stays by a mm.
