A build up on a kerbside found frame - an 80s French made MBK Trainer with parts from my complete Surly Steamroller project bike. The Steamroller was originally meant to be a frameset build up. But I was told only after collecting half the parts I could only get the complete bike from the Aussie importer of Surly bikes. Having my heart set on a Steamroller I dished out the coupla extra hundred bucks and got complete bike to tear down. Most of the parts ended up on this bike - and it's become my first fixie.

Addendum..
Let the tangled chain pic be a lesson to you, young kids. Read up on Uncle Sheldon's pages about chain tension when dabbling with your first fixed gear! this happened to me on a fast descent. Fortunately the traffic lights I was about to go through were Green, the road was quiet and just that little bit wet allowing me to skid just that bit further and over safely to the kerb. I was lucky!
My chain in the last pic, without brakes and bar tape and how originally I rode this bike, is way too slack. Let new fixie riders beware!
