Soma white wall tires, Kashimax Top tube protector, white Ole clips and White Campagnolo straps. A lot went into building this bike, and there is always room for upgrades. I think it looks nice.

side note: When building this bike I wanted gold wheels, spokes, headset, post collar, hardware. But after searching and searching the market I realized that not all gold was the same color. the chris king gold didn't match the nitto stuff at all. And that was a problem because it would be toughing the gold nitto stem. The velocity gold Deep V's didn't match the nitto or suzue hubs. Another problem. So I ended up going with the white wheels and some calculated silver parts. She was beautiful, and I wouldn't change the experience of building her for the world.

But I sold her like a dirty whore on ebay haa

jeez guys cant we all just hug and get along...

Wow, so much hate over a nice looking bike. The bike looks great. I love the paul crankset on this one. Bummer you had to sell it.

Paul Comp Limited Edition Cranks

I have the exact crankset new in box :) It's been a long time since I bought it, it was a limited 10 unit production in Gold anodization, did Paul make more of these? I'm curious if I can find one in the future if I decided to sell mine for the time being...

bike looks great.

bike looks great.

speechless...

except for one thing, your bike is PIMPLICIOUS!! Good work.

fuck all these haters best

fuck all these haters best bike on velospace

Wow

Look at the list of everyone that friended your bike man! Its HUGE! Fun to see all these haters posting crappy ass comments about how everything is wrong about it.. That list pretty much speaks for itself!

yup

It speaks for the amount of dumb ass people on here that don't know shit about bikes. Everyone that knows agrees with that. It's like this:
"You can sell a million records and still be stupid as fuck." The American philosophy... got president Bush 2 terms. A nation of geniuses. LOL

LOL?

Do I detect jealousy? Hmm...

LMFAO

Jealousy? I have pedals that are worth more than this bike... jealousy? no. It just baffles me how the old "stupidity of the masses"-rule prevails to rule every niche of this god forsaken planet.

damn dude what pedals?

damn dude what pedals?

thank you

what pedals you clown?

the pedals that you ain't got.

The bike is awesome for

The bike is awesome for display because of its white and gold parts. It looks expensive. I wouldn't dare use it on the road because it might get damaged. gold buyers

I agree

This bike was not made to take on the road. Looks godly, though! If it's strictly for looks, I would ditch the Velocity stickers to make it look even more clean... but that's just me.

Where can you get those top-tube protectors, and who makes them? They look so cool and subtle, and I'm assuming they're cheap because they're so small... or expensive because they're stylish enough that hipsters are all over it.

OMG!!

its like a bike made for an angel hahaha =)
very nice build

you go to the art institute

you go to the art institute here in philly but you say you have "real work horses" i never met you but you should apply for the hipster president postion really your zip is 19130 your obviously a center city hipster art fag

I said my old pista was a

I said my old pista was a work horse. cause i rode it hard and treated it like shit and it stayed in pretty good shape. whats wrong with that? 19130 goes all the way up to fairmount, which is where i live, hardly "center city". you don't even have any bikes posted dude.

+1

lmfao

you must just keep checking

you must just keep checking back to see what people say about your comments....

everyday

that's all we do on velospace. monitor the brainless, dumb ass little "sunfish chats". be so good and be a sunfish.

A. I went to University of The Arts, not The Art Institute, get your shit straight.

B. I flew to Chicago with my bike, and rode back, camping every night. Fuck You Pussy.

C. Because I went to school for design and graduated and now work in a design studio makes me a hipster art fag.

BOOOO

Not a big fan of the frame...or color combo...that's just me though

yep

gotta agree with that: shit frame, shit bike, shitty ride... but those hipsters love it that's why this bike has so many friends.

Don't give in the hype.

The bike is well built,you

The bike is well built, you just have to be aware of those bike theft.

Pinnacle Security

"well built"

This is one of the most awful bikes I have ever seen. Defiantly on my top ten HIPSTER RIG list. The frame is cheap shit and the paint job is worth more than the tubing. The components are hipster trademarks and the look is average.

You do have to watch out for thieves because they are just as dumb as hipsters and go for looks.

So?

So?

So?

So you can't read if you gotta ask again!
You're dumb as fuck if you ride bikes to feel like you belong to a certain group or have a certain type of "bad ass" attitude. You got no sense of individualism if you blindly follow a trend, not to mention a soul. If you pride yourself by being a hipster I don't care. I could give less of a fuck. I just think it is sad that people still fall for commercialism and hype, the very tools of the American regime to oppress the people. But like I said it's whatever to me since most of those lil kids will be driving daddy's car in a few years.

This was my bike-

I was riding different types of bikes way before I built this one. I ride a road bike usually, and would much rather kill it for 5 hours on a road bike on a long hilly route in lycra than ride a fixed gear around town.

I moved to Philly and needed to ride like 2 miles to school every day, and leave locked up all day while I was in class. Enter the fuji track, cheap and simple. Then after I got a few other bikes, I decided to "throw" this together. Obviously influenced by "hipster" trends. I thought it would be fun to have a super blingin' bike to ride for nice occasions.

I had other bikes to ride when I meant business. If you're a real bike lover, you'll at least appreciate a want to have a bunch of different bikes, this was just one that I wanted to add to my collection.

As for blindly following trends- fuck you. You're online on the same site as the rest of us- if you're so concerned about individualism get off your fucking computer and go ride your bike by yourself cause you sound like a real asshole.

You (aliderkrasse) said," I just think it is sad that people still fall for commercialism and hype, the very tools of the American regime to oppress the people." If you're so concerned about shit like this go do something about it, don't cry about it on a site devoted to bicycles. Get off your high horse dude.

I had fun building this bike, I enjoyed it while I had it, and I moved on. Fuck You. and have a nice new year!!!! I'm not angry or anything, this is all in good fun.

...Get off your high horse dude.

You said (WalkingDead):"If you're so concerned about shit like this go do something about it, don't cry about it on a site devoted to bicycles."

How do you know what I do against the oppressive regime of this country or what I do in my free time?

With no word of my negative judgment about either your faggot ass bike or the "Hipster Movement" have I actually directly mentioned you (the owner of this bike) so why the fuck you feel like you gotta directly address me rather than my comment.

On top of that why do you feel like you have to defend yourself? I never attacked you directly. You admit yourself that this shit bike is a Hipster Rig that was the whole point so by responding to me personally you show how insecure you are about yourself and the way you are perceived as on this site.

and I responded to YOU

and I responded to YOU directly because I didn't like the way YOU said things, you just sound like an ass. Like one dude said he didn't like the frame or colors, thats fine, its about the bike. Your comments are nasty- and you bring up shit like hipsters, hype, the oppressive american regime- just say what you want about the bike and leave everything else out of it. Which you did, but could have done more simply. You don't like it. point taken. : )

point taken

ok Velospace Police. I did not realize you were monitoring the quality of my comments and judging them as nasty. So yeah point taken. No bad feelings. I believe that everything connects and thought if my original statement gets questioned or challenged I should explain where my opinion is coming from. Nothing personal.

you did not like the way my comment sounds to you? ohhh how sad. maybe you just need to start your own website where YOU can decide who writes what! until then fuck you and enjoy your bike!

"so by responding to me

"so by responding to me personally you show how insecure you are about yourself and the way you are perceived as on this site."-FALSE.

-FALSE

Why is that false?(explain) I mean maybe it is. I don't know you. That is just the way it appears to me because you elaborated in detail about how and why you have that bike... nobody cares. You insulted me personally instead of arguing my comment that is something that makes you look immature and insecure.

you seem to have anger issues.

why don't you RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE?!

you seem to have mental issues

why don't you SEE A PSYCHIATRIST?! or a BRIAN SURGEON

USA USA USA

USA USA USA USA USA USA

go back to russia, pinko.

Russia?

I ain't never been to Russia you faggot ass redneck. Where I am from we piss on your flag.

Pinko? The fuck is that supposed to mean? I already explained to you (http://velospace.org/node/4895) that you don't know what gender or ethnicity I am and therefore you should be careful with your dumb ass assumptions.

Your name is cool bike dude and you are from pee pee town... that explains everything...

i don't live in USA USA USA

you don't know what "pinko" means? you must really be a pinko commie fuck. HEY, JOHN ANTHONY WALKER, GO BACK TO RUSSIA!

,,,

Wow... "go back to Russia" are you serious? The fact that you still don't know my gender, ethnicity and nationality makes your dumb ass comments very entertaining.

All your anti-Russia comments show a big insecurity about that country. My guess is that if it wasn't for John A. Walker your sorry as mother would've never gotten fucked and therefore you would've never existed so give the man some credit.

sorry asssssssss mother

wow one s my bad I forgot one s. I was not aware of spell check at the moment of typing this shit

"sorry as mother"

oh shit! Nice typo, dummy! Look everyone, a total dummy!

Everything you say from now on will be overshadowed by your stupid-ass typo. Learn english, retard. read a good book! hahahaha!!!

Your gender? You must be a cat because you sound like a pussy!!

SORRY AS MOTHER!!!

haha

"Your gender? You must be a cat because you sound like a pussy!!"

squirted juice all over my keyboard when i read that!! haha

"overshadowed"

My every word will be overshadowed because of one letter? I know you must have busted a nut when you read my comment because that is straight up dumbness... if you can't grasp the meaning of the sentence because of one typo you qualify for going back to elementary. You also seem to oversee the sense it still makes with it being one s and without the r at the end of you(r) as it would mean you got fucked by John A. Walker and are as sorry as your mother.

Why don't you crawl back under that rock you came from under? You obviously can't contribute anything intelligent or constructive to this site and therefore are probably one of the most hated retards on Velospace. You don't have a bike and you do you don't know shit about bikes or at least portray yourself as that. Your frustration about that fact verbalizes itself in those dumb ass comments you be making all over this site (I actually track your posts because I find your dumbness quite entertaining and amusing). I don't mind you. Actually you are kind of interesting, just like cancer can be interesting to analyze. I am just trying to understand your motivation behind your dumb ass comments. Don't you have a life? Well don't think too much about that it might hurt you. Your comments are as strong as a butt naked orphan in Antarctica. Your words are as meaningful as a gay senator yappin about the right to abortion. You are as pathetic as a preop tranny shoving tampons up her asshole... but you still amuse me.

you know what is funny?

what is funny is that i can write anything here and you will respond to it. it is like when you go fishing and you keep catching that same sunfish over and over and you keep throwing it back in but eventually you feel bad and just stop fishing.

have a nice life, sunfish. i'm glad i could be amusing to you. sadly, i am actually just a normal guy who is annoying you with his free time at work. also, i am sorry i couldn't finish reading your comment because i got really bored and sad.

cheers.

so true.... haaha.

so true.... haaha.

OWNED!

ohh godddddd!

The boner maker!

WOW.

This is a beautiful bike. Hands down, my favorite.

Hey-

I sold this bike while I was in college and had no money. Now I'm out of school and have money and I know I can never get this back. Its pretty depressing. I'm still killin it on the track pro and t1 tho.

To everyone with positive stuff to say- thanks for the love.
After a year I've had some ups and downs in my comments for this bike.
fun stuff.

This is not a bike...this is a dreamboat :)

this bike is so beautiful. i have kinda lost my desire to personalize my bike. the matching is just uhhh. it's so balanced looking too. that crank is just so insane, i want to ride it. amazing.

grossssss... fuji track?!! i just realized that. i thought it was a gan well pro for some reason. mah, who cares. i'm sure the person who bought it isn't actually riding it anyway.

"i thought it was a gan well pro for some reason"

Jerk- don't mistake a fuji track frame for freaking gan well pro- then shit on me for using the fuji- when you (unlike most people) can't even tell the difference.

frame

why is everyone hating on the frame?

because he built a bike that

because he built a bike that no one would want to ride, and the frame sucks.
