1954 Ciclo Piave back to life as a singlespeed

Thank you very much! Yes i put as a rear hub the brand new Velosteel coaster brake. This new version allows to mount different gears and not only the 18t that was fixed on the old version.

Thanks! Yes, the bike was a piece of rust so it has been completely re-chromed and re-painted with celeste Bianchi color, that slightly differs from the original one but gives the same vintage flavour.
Dad received it as a gift when he was 13, now he is 69 and seeing his bike back as new got him moved :P

Penso di esserne sicuro al 100 % , io vado spesso da mio amico Sandro a Marghera , per aiuti sui miei restauri, e se non sbaglio a Luglio c'era questa bellisima bici, ricordo senza sella e senza nastro al manubrio . Mi colpì la sua eleganza e semplicità, tanto da indurmi a cercarne una simile, che fatalità h trovato in questi giorni.
E' messa un pò peggio della tua , spero di riuscire a portare termine il lavoro con un risultato degno di queste foto
