Straight alloy rod in a 3ttt stem

Straight steel fork, Shimano 600 set

Gazelle drum brake laced 3X to red painted Rigida rim.

Converted Shimano XT front disc hub laced 3X to rattle canned Rigida deep-V.

Campagnolo Record, Shimano bottom bracket

Haro BMX saddle, Ritchey seat post

Gipiemme pedals, crappy chain straps

Bunch of leftovers; my former polo bike. The drum brake brakes quite shitty and weights about a ton. However, the converted disc hub works very well. The insulating tape, too.

I haven't tested the brake lever yet. This system is also known as The Frankfurter Brake

Boone is a friggin' genius. I like the brake also and might try to fab one up - maybe welded to the underside of a steel stem somehow...

Crappy. They shred shoes, scratch the cranks and are hard to mount and dismount. Rode them once and never again.
