Chas Roberts is one of the last of the old school master builders in London. As befitting a builder with such track heritage, this bike rides like a laserbeam, fast and straight. I feel like I'm perched on top of a scalpel, surgically carving my way through London's streets with barely any effort at all.

The frame was from eBay and I built it up with bits and bobs from here and there. Thanks to Brick Lane Bikes and Cycle Surgery in Camden for advice and various parts.

Note: purple rims will make you go faster.

nice.

Very nice. Personally, I'd rather see classic wheels to go with the frame, stem, and saddle. Would be epic with some vintage tubulars, but lose some of the wow factor for the Fixed Gear contingent. But besides that, what a nice ride you have there. Excellent. Know you're enjoying it. Love the moss backdrop, too!

Nice!

Nice..

I was lucky enough to be in a club that had a deal with Chas in the early 80s (VC D'Or Pennygate) - brilliant frames and a great bloke to sit and have a yarn with...

Good to see that his classics are still being ridden hard...

Planning a respray and a few other bits - will post up when done.
