I built this bike over a few months a little over a year ago with the help of my friend Rob. I've just started updating some things within the last few months. I've recently been trying to determine when my bike was made but Ive been having trouble. I've read that the "W" stands for Worksop and the "B" stand for the fortnight in which it was made. Supposedly the digit that folows is a reference to the year in which it was made so I'm guessing '83 since these serials we're put on bikes from '74 or so through the 80's from stuff I've read. I removed the Raleigh sticker from the down tube and the only reason I have to believe that its a "Competition" model is because of the small "Competition" stickers I left on the top tube. I have yet to find another frame online that looks similar to mine in terms of color or sticker style (sadly I'm still picking up bike info so thats all I know to look for to compare). I love my bike like crazy and can't wait to build another one.
Thanks again to Rob for helping me be a bike nerd, Evan at Richmond Recycles too.
