Lotus Eclair / 56 / 198x

50x18

Inherited from my pops. Bought new in the 80's. First memories were riding around in the back-baby seat.

A good friend converted it to SS for Baltimore riding. I'll probably throw some fenders and a basket on it for grocery runs in Buffalo when seminars begin.

Very original! I knew I'd

Very original! I knew I'd kept these 3D glasses for a reason! Nice job and never mind the buzz killer comment! I think it's great that this was your dad's bike and that you road in the baby seat... most of today's bikes could never last that long. That bike is a keeper! Great bike and very original picture!

Do you need a special software to do this... is it complicated? You've really got me curious about this!

You can do it with any basic

You can do it with any basic photo editing software. It would be much easier/convenient to do it with a digital camera. Here's the basic steps:

Take one picture of a scene with some depth (this is the "left eye perspective") Move the camera a few inches to the right and take the same picture ("right eye perspective"). Upload to PhotoShop, make one layer red, the other blue, and align the images appropriately.

Here's a link that explains it better: http://www.scec.org/geowall/makeanaglyph.html

Thanks!!!

Thank you for the info and the link. I'll try that out this weekend!

Have a good day!

3d drops

I can really see the 3d effect on the drops. Did you originally take two photos or one and applied some magic processing?

Yeah it was 2 photos. This

Yeah it was 2 photos.

This example doesn't really work that well with the effect, as was pointed out. You can do it by taking one photo, then moving the camera over a few inches and take the same shot. It was on film, and I had to develop and print and scan the shit, so that made it harder.

I have a picture of my dog in the same style, but this isn't Dogspace, so I'll save it.

why not!

this is already the unofficial home of applespace...

you lined them up really

you lined them up really badly and the scene isnt really 3d anyway. its a bike right up against a flat wall.

why'd you have to ruin my

why'd you have to ruin my fun?

it's 3D if you look at the spokes...

anyway, the point was: I only have THIS picture of the bike in the old setup, so live with it until I've got the new pics.

I bet you're a blast at

I bet you're a blast at parties.
