This is my first fixed gear build... Also first time building a bike from the ground up. Was on a budget, so I had to go cheap on a few components. Future upgrades include: Velocity Deep-V's, better toe clips and/or straps...

Thats a sweet set up, trying

Thats a sweet set up, trying to save up some money to get something along those lines. I've noticed u are riding a 58, so i m just wondering how tall u are. Im 6 ft tall and i m scared 55 might be a bit small, tho many recommend getting a track frame a size smaller.

Nice, was thinking between

Nice, was thinking between the V2 trick star fork, V1 trick star fork and that fork... I just don't know which one to get. If I were to get your fork, I would be afraid of it bending from barspins because its alum, but how is the durability?

fork

Super rigid and pretty light-weight, but I don't think it would bend from barspins. I've read that some people trick on this fork, but if you're going to be clearing stair sets or drops, might want to go with the trick star.

Does your front wheel clear?

Does your front wheel clear?

front wheel

Yeah, barspins no problem.

thats so sick

thats so sick

How

are those cranks treating you? Been considering picking those up.

cranks

No issues with them yet. They're pretty good cranks for the price (59 bucks).

Well it's good to see that

Well it's good to see that even with their 2010 models, Leader STILL cannot get their chain-stay length correct. Geeeeez. Well, at least it's a lot better then it was, but by seeing where your rear wheel is in relation to the seatpost, the chain-stays could have been shorter.

The 2010 model is like that

The 2010 model is like that so you can fit bigger tires for the rear

I can only see a 32c tire

I can only see a 32c tire getting close to that clearance(FGFS?)

tire clearance

The new 725TRs are designed to fit a 32c fully slammed in the dropouts.

Looks good

Especially for a first build :)
