I rescued this from a free pile at a yardsale last summer. It was well used, and had sat for a long time, but had apparently been fairly well maintained. All it really needed was a good cleaning, minor wheel true, liberal doses of fresh grease, new tires, brakepads, tires, and straps. All told I have maybe 425 in it, and it's a great bike as is. I might get some Suntour barcons, (which would have been stock) and I'm strongly moustache bars, but the downtube shifters work well, and the WIDE old aluminum bars are actually quite stiff, and work well, so there is really no need to change a thing
