If you're going to do "black & gold" do it right. I got an incredible deal on the bike from my LBS and I've had a lot of fun making it my own over the past several months. It is finally to a point where I can look at it and ride it and not think "there is something I still want to change".

I have no clue... and when I first got them I was slightly concerned. Although, those things are stiff as all get out and transfer every bump/crack/etc. to the frame so it's not harming the structural integrity of the wheel as far as I can tell. Cellulite is a good term though considering their weight.

they dont all get that. depends on the person lacing them. i ordered mine direct from velocity usa and mine didnt have that at all they were smooth as shit.

I mean it looks worse than it actually is. They still feel "smooth", it just looks rippled when the light hits it right. I would say that it looks alot worse on the anodized rims as compared to the powder coated ones laced in the same manner due to the high reflective/metallic finish of the anodizing process.
