Notes:

This bike has the lovely hand pinstriping in red around the lugs, which Schwinn stopped doing after 1972. I am having the bars rechromed as they were pretty badly rusted -- after that, it will be ready to ride! I am contemplating having new decals put on, although the faded, flaking-off originals do have a kind of charm...

Incidentally, if you ever read any background on the ubiquitous chrome pista, this is the bike that Sky used as a model. She apparently had one given to her by a racer. I believe that's how the story goes. However, this is a far nicer whip than any stock pista. Nice ride!
