This bike has the lovely hand pin-striping in red around the lugs, which Schwinn stopped doing after 1972. The bike was set up for the track when I got it, and I left it that way for a long time. But I decided I really wanted to get more use out of it, so I set up for street riding. I wanted it to give it a more modern, urban look, and started with a set up of 80's clincher black anodized Campy Omega rims. I am really happy with the way they look. The stem/bars and seatpost were pillaged from other bikes, and I will switch them out eventually, but it is good for now. This bike is a joy to ride -- amazingly comfortable, smooth, and the quietest drivetrain ever!
