49 x 16 gears. White Eno freewheel. MKS 8mm chain tugs.

My first bike, a custom build by the lads at Zic Zac in San Francisco (sadly, now gone). The only member of the Zic Zac team still around is Andy Richards in Grass Valley, California, whom I hear is building frames again.

Stunning..

The simplicity/proportions of yellow to chrome/black is just beautiful - even the builder's restrained labeling compliments the look. That Jag stem and Nitto bar make for a sinister stance -
