The whole shebang is Campy Veloce. This is my first Campy bike-- figured I oughta have one to be a real bike dork.
Update (8/12/07): This bike has a new owner! While I dug riding it a lot, it didn't have the rack or fender eyelets I really needed. So I sold it and became the Youngest Rivendell Owner Alive.
Okay, so I had two itches to scratch when I set out looking for this bike: 1. I wanted a rain bike with a triple that isn't my fancypants Salsa that needs to be meticulously and lovingly cleaned after the kind of dirty, wet, gritty riding one must endure in an Oregon winter (read: six to eight months out of the year), and 2. I have wanted a celeste Bianchi since I was in high school and my boyfriend had one. Heh, in 1990. So I found this '99 Veloce with its pretty (but imperfect) celeste paint, slapped some fenders and a celeste Silca frame pump on it and called it a day. And like magic, the itch was scratched.
It goes against the very grain of my being to not fuss over a bike and keep it bizarrely clean, so I'm calling this an experiment. We'll see how it goes.
