3Rensho Super Record

This bike was pulled from a dumpster in 94 and had the derailleur hanger (beautifully) replaced by Mark Nobilette. It was then repainted and was given to me by my father in 2001. I dis-assembled it last month to prepare for a nice restoration/rebuild. If anybody has any info on how to pinpoint the exact model year of a 3Rensho thru serial #, it would be much appreciated.
