First Aluminium Frame

How does it ride compared to a steel frame ?
Is it hard and uncomfortable or soft ?

I thought about getting one like this or a Cinelli Mash but was not sure because I've been riding only steel.

Btw. Nice build

Compared to steel...

I put it together this weekend and since I´m recovering from a knee surgery I had about two weeks ago you´re going to have to wait a while for an evaluation... :) The Cinelli Mash looks amazing though!

Why in the world did you cut

Why in the world did you cut off the end of the bars?! That is really pointless.

maybe it's just his preference

vroom vroom vroom

why is that pointless?.........maybe he just doesn't need to put his hands at the ends like you and just uses his down force at that position. nitto actually makes bars like that, are these pointless as well

http://www.tracksupermarket.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=83&products_id=516

just wondering

He should just be riding

He should just be riding with straight riser bars than, in that case.

It's pointless to cut off the flipped up tips of the bar because, what really is the point? What does it do, cutting off that small section of the bar? How does it improve them or make them function better?

Having the flipped up part at the end of the bars lets you push your hands all the way out to the far end, so you can put more force onto the bars when sprinting or going up hills without your hand wanting to slip off the end of the bars.

Blablabla...

I rode with those bars for about a year and a half on my Fuji Track, and I can´t recall that i ever used the flipped up tips for support. The flat section is fine and since I ride with wrapped bars + full finger gloves 24/7 there is no risk whatsoever of slipping off. Therefore I cut them simply because it looks 100% better. So please stop telling me what I should and should not ride, that is completely up to me.
Edit: I do like your Concept though.
