-Fork is heavy as hell. Have a carbon fork in the waits, still gotta get a stem and headset
-Looking to gear down on the cassette, in the hunt for something like a 13-26 9 speed
-Need to jury-rig a full fender set up for the winter, I don't feel like putting together a winter bike
-Not sure about the year

as for race blades sure theyre better than nothing, but i really would like to have full fenders for a portland winter. :)

You might like to check out the 'SKS race blade' fenders. They are pretty nice, low profile, fenders for road bikes.
