I LOVE THIS BIKE. It seriously kicks ass. I still have a special place in my heart for my 1995 Kona AA hardtail (which I still have [most] of), but for me, this bike is awesome! Under 30lbs complete. The Zen frame is really rare to come by from what I hear, and it's one of the most efficient and strongest FS XC designs I've seen. MC no longer makes the Zen and it looks like they've licensed their design to Jamis and 1 or 2 other really high end makers, so it must work pretty well.
The second pic is the actual frame and TOTAL piece of crap 5th Element Air shock. That thing SUCKED. Felt like riding an underinflated pilates ball that leaked oil all the time. I replaced it with a Fox RP23 and HOLY $@#T that thing is perfect!!!
The graphics were kinda not my thing, but luckily they're just stickers, so I removed the top tube and downtube stickers and replaced the downtube sticker with a cool bigger/newer MC frame sticker I scored from my brother and I think it looks way cooler.
The only change I'd like to make to this bike is to someday add a set of XTR tubless wheels to it to really lighten it up, but seeing as how the economy has eviscerated my financial situation, that will be a ways off.. ;)
Lemme know what you guys think! Thanks!
