get rid of those cranks..
a kid just came into my shop with a dura-ace crank same era all blowed up from sprinting from a stop light. broke the spider right off.

it looks like 42x18 or 19 or maybe even 20.

and nothing's wrong with it. for all i know, you climb huge hills all day long on that, or you do tricks, who knows. it just looks like spin-out-of-control or get-nowhere gearing.

Nah I know the rear is 17, the front is either 42 or 44T, the guy I bought it from couldn't quite remember. What would be a good match with a 42T front? I'm living in Victoria so theres some hills. No tricks for this bike, I've got a downhill and bmx for tricks.
