I used to have one of these!

Same color and everything, but mine was taller. I seem to remember it was called a something 600 (R?). I bought mine while stationed in Germany in the late 80’s. It’s the little brother of the 800, “The Beast of the East”. The geometry is a bit different than most from that time with the bottom bracket higher by 3 inches or so I recall. Great for technical terrain like rocks & logs at lower speeds. I recall it had full LX & thumb shifters. I figure it’s still floating around Michigan somewhere since I sold it to an in-law some years ago.
