Original paint, original decals. Sourced from Holland, imported to US. Paid 3299 Dutch Guilders just as Europe switched to Euros. Upon import to US, the Customs officer, being a cyclist himself and rather fond of Italian steel, categorized the bike as "art" (rather than sporting goods) on the import-paperwork in order to lessen the burden of the tariff for a fellow cyclist.
