Saw this on VintageCannondale.com maybe...

This bike, via Vintagecannondale.com (I think its the same bike) is one of the inspirations for building up my dad's old ST400 frame and get out there on it.

Yeah I did

put a pic on vintagecannondale.com, forgot about that. I looked at yours, very nice, the black and white is sharp. Do need different wheels if you're going to ride loaded. You could build up some touring wheels and use those wheels for blasting around local.

Touring..

Adding to my Loaded Touring cluster. I just picked up an '88 ST700 and am in the process of sanding down the frame for a repaint.

People think aluminum sucks for touring bikes, I find this one very comfortable and not a harsh ride at all. They do have a steel fork so I guess that helps. Good luck with yours!
