The frame is what makes this bike awesome....especially up close. The bottom bracket is lugged but all others joints have been beautifully fillet brazed. John Slawta is a god in my book, and this bike seems pretty darn god-like as well.

I find myself just staring at this beautiful bike.

Pretty sure I saw you with this bike at Woodinville bicycle not to long ago, and I complememted you on it.

...I think so. Super funny.

...I think so. Super funny. Hey, I really like the tapejob on your Langster, looks great. My other ride is an '07 Allez, I'm a big fan of Specialized.

Paint

Slawta's going to go down as one of the finest builders of frames in America's cycling history. I'm sure that's a killer ride.

That's some crazy paint, though. :) Did you order that frame with paint like that or did you buy the frame second-hand?

....bought the bike used, so I had no say in the design layout, unfortunately. I know that if you buy a new LS, it can be as custom as you want. He did a base coat of white, then sprayed over the white that bright orange you see, finished with the black. The guy I bought it from had it as a free-hub 42t-16t, but I remedied that with a quick fixie-urgery and now it is a true Track Shark again. I'm lucky enough to live close to a velodrome, and I've been really happy with the way it feels in the corners. A great bicycle in every way.

lugged bb

can we get a pic of that?sweet bike ! I will own one some day...I will!
