from deserted to winter bike to insane conversion. Metal work and paint was a 6 mo. headache, but its done now. Zack of ZRCycles (http://zrcycles.com/) built the fork to spec, steep, straight blade and 23mm only clearance.

The bars I found during a race weekend (Sadie Hawkins) at Yojimbo's in Chicago and were too insane to pass up. Seat and toptube protector were custom made by me with thrift-store love. After a brief, painful experince with Dura-Ace spd's, I opted for very pretty and reliable MKS pedals, double clips, and Sugino 3Rensho straps

thin pipe insulation, fabric of your choice, spray adhesive, velcro strips, needle+thread. i added hemp twine on the ends to reinforce the velcro bond....
