Your bike was the very first reason I decided to get a kilo. haha, almost chose a purple in 44cm like yours too, but found out that bikesdirect came out with a blue color.
I think the small frame isn't fitted well with the 700c front wheel - hence the toe overlap. I might switch my front one to a 650c instead...

I hope to see/ride with you sometime! :)

When I first bought a kilo the wheel alignment on the front was the same as yours. Somehow it's gone away.
