Wow

So nice. I wish my 'vintage' aluminum was vintage-steel. Haha,-not quite the same thing is it?

All the steel bikes I have

All the steel bikes I have ridden with modern parts were an intoxicating blend of smoothness, cool, and comfort. Super nice bike, can't wait to see the finished product.

Couldnt agree more!

Theres alot to be said about the mix of old and new, With modern parts reducing the weight and giving better shifts and strength, i think thats how some older bikes were invisioned, the ride quality achieved with more modern parts is better than what was capable with circa correct parts. The feeling of of riding smooth vintage steel with new/later/younger parts is simply amazing.! Cheers

Torn

Put the modern parts on a modern frame! This classic can only be truly understood with classic parts! On the other hand modern components on steel frames offer a blend of performance classic geometry that isn't easily understood by our fellow Carbon Junkie crowd. With some of the more modern steel tubing you can build an even Sexier, Silkier riding frame that can entice you so Just Say no to the Plastic Bike....Forever
