I built this bike up for the 2009 track season, because I felt it was time to step up from the old steel LeMond to something a little less flexy and more race-worthy. It was a worthwhile upgrade - the Javelin frame is very stiff light (though the old carbon composite trispokes weigh it down a bit), but certainly a harsher ride than the LeMond. This wasn't an issue racing at Major Taylor.
You don't hear a lot about or see many Javelins, but the Vigorelli is a top-shelf track bike that I would recommend to anyone. I can't see myself ever needing an upgrade - I'm not sure what I could improve upon.
Anyone with a Giant Mike Burrows #1 seatpost, or any other decent carbon aero seatpost with less than 170mm of adjustability, should PM me.
