Super Racer:
A 700 wheel on a 650 fork: We were surprisingly happy with the result. This bike is steady, super fast, but at the same time very solid and smooth for city riding.

HELP with short head tube & stem pls

Im trying to build up a chaz roberts pursuit frame.

Its head tube is only 100mm, how/where did you find a short (height) stem for your beauty ?

hi!
saw your bike, my opinion is that it would be very uncomfortable for a everyday fix but for a speciall velodrome type of racer will be excellent.
Stems of this type exist! I found this at Mr Tsimpidis warehouse. He is an old mechanic that did work for the Olympic Velo Greek Team. But he is old, like 75 years old. So you have to find a place that used to deal with old pursuit frames. These guys would have a stem of this type. They are not so rare. Pursuit frames are still around...

How'd you get a 700 on that fork? even with the air out of my tire I couldn't fit one on my bike? Is it like a 19 wide tire or something?

no its 23.
it is really tight in there..
i gues we were a bit lucky, but we looked epsecially for a fork that fits 23s on a 700.
is your frame a pursuit?
