Rear wheel has been converted using a Surly Fixxer. But the Fixxer is not 100% compatible with the RevX Hub due to the non drive-side bearing. The RevX hub uses a sealed cartridge bearing here, but the Fixxer is made for standard Shimano hubs which use a loose ball bearing on the non-drive side. The surly kit comes with a thread on bearing race for the loose balls, but this is not compatible for the sealed bearing.

I went to Kalavinka in Meguro, Tokyo because they can machine the parts needed to complete the conversion. They will do all the work of converting the wheel to a track hub and you can ship the wheel to them and they will do this, luckily I live near them and could just walk in and give it to them

They did a great job, they are so far the only people I have found in the world to offer a professional RevX- track hub conversion. They also offer a rear wheel to front wheel conversion service too.

Rides smooth and fast. I like it. What more is there to say?
