49x15 for Kissena
I didn't plan on getting another bike (actually, yes I did), but when this deal became possible, I had to jump on it (well, i didn't *have* to, but...). So I did.
This is the first bike that really fits me. It's delightful. The combination of 165mm cranks and criterium bars - shaped like track drops but with a shallower drops - is so right.
This bike is a little roughed up, but is quirky and awesome. One of the seatstay pantographings just says "Pogliagh." Long chainstays but a extremely tight front end. I have a hard time riding anything else. I even was commuting on it during the nicer weather in January. I think this tough little bike will be with me for a while. I love the way it rides so goddamn much. anything less than the best is a felony, okay?
Also, gearing down is a wonderful new experience. I rode it on the street (not exclusively, though) for over a year, and now it's my Kissena Velodrome bike.
