the P15

this was/is my dads bike. he bought it new in 1972.
he quickly upgraded to campy brakes, replacing the weinmann centerpulls.
in order to fit the rear short reach caliper to the otherwise long reach frame
he had a friend in the metal milling business fabricate a custom drop bolt.
he also replaced the gaudy schwinn shifters with a campy down-tube set.
seen here is yet another set of bar-end shifters, also campy.
i hope to have a bike like this to pass onto my kids someday.
