Dura Ace (53/39)

Ideale #90 Competition Special Saddle

Shimano PD-M520L Black, Shimano 9 Speed

11-25, 9 Speed Cassette

This is a Waterford built Paramount. I guess Schwinn also did a 50th Anniversary Gold plated version of this frame too (only 600 were produced). To see it in its fully Campy glory, check this one out. Puts mine to shame!

I know there are also photos of the "Team Wheaties" paint job online for this 1988 model.

Front Rack is from Velo Orange. Called the Randonneur Rack, this one is Chromed Steel, not Stainless Steel version. Hard to fit on this bike with the tight clearances at the front end. Was a fun challenge.

paramount

i had a mid 90's paramount. blue sparkle paint,56cm. real nice ride. gave mine to a friend . we ride together and she rides great. that's a nice ride you got. later paul t.

Looks great!

I can't say the same for that front rack though.....

I know, a bit out of place

I know, a bit out of place on a "racing" frame. I want to have a place to put a small bag for the summer and keep my back from getting so gross with a pack or messenger bag on.

neat!

Like this setup, functional and classy!
