8spd Campagnolo

Bought this quite cheaply in a bit of a state. Had been converted to Shimano 600 STI with double Spinergys (which looked quite rad!), with nasty chopped bars.

In its first incarnation it might have had the full Edco Competition group set as it still has a few bits left on it, which are super cool.
It belonged to a Belgium pro who raced it on the European circuit before selling it to a Kiwi triathlete in the mid 90s and then sat in an attic for 8 years.

Building it up bit by bit as I find the odd part here and there from roughly the right era.

No idea what these frames were actually called so any info greatly appreciated.

Good lord, that's a

Good lord, that's a beautiful color combination. The frames are called time trial, ran I think between late 80's to mid 90's. I'm pretty sure after 91 92 they switched to 700c front ends. I have a 1988 Ciocc PDM team time trial bike. Unfortunately I don't enough money to build it up with the wonderful parts that you have. I have on some newer nitto bullhorns, but the la's look stunning. Definitely next on my list.
