This Peugeot PX-10 frame was built in France in 1988, the final year of legendary PX-10 model. I built it up from a new old stock frame that I bought from a guy in Belgium. I wanted to give it a classic look with the convenience of modern components, so I decided to equip it with Dura Ace 9-speed downtube indexed shifters, derailleurs, brakes, and a new model Stronglight crankset and headset. I took it for a 10-mile test ride last weekend and it rode like a dream; a perfect balance of performance and comfort.

great bike

like it a lot, the components are fine and everything looks great together. I live at the french boarder but I could not remember that I have seen such a well-kept peugeot px.

!!!!!

This is definitely one of the best Peugeots I've ever seen.

Couldn't be better.

not gonna lie... kinda jealous.

I've been looking for an 80s px-10 for months now, and I haven't come across one that looks quite as awesome.

Must ride like a dream. Very cool.

Congratulations

Your bike is absolutely fantastic!

Perfect.

I adore your bike.

Not normally a fan

While not normally a fan of vintage bikes with thy modern drivetrain, as it just looks too incongruous, I have to admit that your implementation seems better executed than most, actually not muddling the aesthetics and visual impact. That being said, I'd still prefer to see a vintage ride with period components, however. Still, this looks like a fun ride for sure. Nice job on your interpretation. I'm probably going to have to slide down that path with my Cinelli, though it's an 01 frame.
