Like I stated in the title and the tags, this is a parts bike, purposely built as a single speed... a single speed cyclocross bike. I wanted a stripped down, minimal build. So I could ride the foothills behind my home or bomb around the neighborhood. I've included a picture of a Gebla cyclocross frame, built up with a Rock Shox Ruby, plenty of CX racers are running forks like the Ruby because it has a flip lockout. I love my Gebla! The Ruby on this bike is one of three that I have. I used a track frame for this build because I didn't want to mess with gears or be forced to use a chain tensioner. Once it's fitted with CX tires, it'll be able to go from the blacktop to the dirt and anywhere else I want to go.

how hard do you ride that thing? ever worry about the spinergy? i've read many a disparaging remark about the rev-x. i myself have a bonded carbon frame w/ alloy lugs and a rev-x on the back, and from reading internet forums one might think that it could fall apart at any moment.

yo

whats the headset diameter?

headset

Hey-

The headset diameter on the bike is 1 inch threaded. I used an Odyssey "Quick Change" quill stem adapter to go from 1 inch threaded to 1 1/8th threadless. I've always loved that anodized Tioga stem, so I flipped it and peeled the vinyl decal off and ended up with a cool zero degree front end.

Thanks for the interest!
