I bought the bike new in '91, rode it for 15 years, parked it for year or so, converted it to a single speed, then went to the coaster brake hub. Weighs in at 18 lbs. Looks like a fixie, but it's easier to stop. It took a while to come up with the correct gearing to work with the verticle drops. It's my favorite bike for around town/path.
