Budget friendly for the most part.
Mounted std. Tektro front brake calipers and Minoura seatpost water bottle cage recently for longer rides.
Plans for carbon forks, Rolls saddle, and a rear disc wheel for the better aero and aesthetics.
I've found 46/17 gearing to be ideal for majority of flats, minor hills, and minor wind in my area.

i would

invest in some pedals. that will help with your climbing.

A really attractive bike,

A really attractive bike, but skip the disc, save your money for something like a frame. Seriously, you won't feel the difference in aero. Go for a caron fork, though, the stock fork is frighteningly flexy. Nice ride!

exactly

the disc won't make a difference till you're going upwards of 20-25mph.

you mention

wind, and you want to put on a rear disc?

i've been reading around a

i've been reading around a bit, on the sheldonbrown site he mentions that discs suck for climbing because of the added weight. Well my current Deep-V is 1112g, and a disc runs 1000g. So no hurt there. As for the wind, it will affect handling but the spin up front is pretty light and nimble. Otherwise I haven't tried a disc yet so I'm interested in getting one.

dude what? why would you

dude what? why would you ever put a disc on a POS Taiwanese frame. yeah I ride one too but I'd never throw a monocoque carbon composite disc on it. if you're concerned about aero why ride a steel frame? plus discs cost usually upwards of 1000 dollars used and for street riding it is ridiculous. especially if wind is an issue. If you have enough money for a disc, spend it on a new frame.
