eric baar had given me the cinelli lugs as sort of a wedding gift, then he and i built it together in 2007? it was a ton of fun. i did most of the cutting, mitering, bending, etc, while he did all the torch work. i made a few little mistakes, but overall, it turned out well. i carved hearts into all the lugs, though i don't have any photos and am too lazy to take any more! he fillet brazed the super beefcake true temper chainstays to the bb. they are so stiff and make for great acceleration! i gun blued it, rather than painting it. this bike replaced my 80's bianchi pista, which was too small. i based the geometery on the bianchi, but made it larger obviously. it's a 61 c-c, 58.5 top tube, parallel 75's. this bike rides like a dream. too bad i rarely race track anymore. it's also too bad i'm so slow anyways! hahaha
