damn, the pantographs are KILLER

I laid out the design of the

I laid out the design of the pantographing and a friend of mine did the actual work. I then had the fun of infilling with paint. If you like the panto work on this one you will likely enjoy the work that I have had done to a few other bikes too. This one is not as extreme as one of the other bikes that I have.

I have not yet ridden the

I have not yet ridden the bike, as I have just now fitted the shift levers. I do have another 30 bikes to chose a rider from, so it is not that difficult to see it sitting around.

The cromovelato finish

The cromovelato finish procedure involves chroming of the whole frame, with a subsequent transparent paint-like coating. I have seen it in different colors including: copper, red, blue and green. BTW, cromovelato can be translated from Italian as being "veiled chrome".

I was missing the lever stop

I was missing the lever stop plates, which I now have and have mounted. The shift levers are pantographed Campagnolo downtube shifters. I'll eventually post some pictures.
