I love japanese road bikes from the 80's. This Kuwahara CS had been sitting for many years when I found it, and because of it's rarity (I very rarely see Kuwahara-branded road bikes, only a couple on google and flickr) and good tubing & lightness I decided to build it into a Single Speed. It was in pretty gnarly shape when I got it and I've taken it down to the frame, fork and bottom bracket to clean it up. So I bought a crank remover and learned how to pull and install a crank on this bike (Easy) I plan to touch up the frame a little here and there. The only original parts I'll keep is the cool stamped headset and the frameset. Still need a seatpost, saddle, better brakes, bars. I have most of these parts but they're all on other bikes I plan to give as gifts.
