saddle ??

One very, very nice bike... I'd still say put a period saddle on it !!! And try a not too abrasive chrome polish for those rust spots near the lugs, then preserve by regularly rubbing with a rag dipped in a small amount of light oil !!! That'll stop any further chrome tarnish/rust and improve the looks.

updated with a Brooks saddle, which has just broken in and is so comfy. And there's not any tarnish on the chrome, rather it's bits of orange left over from the original paint job.
