I keep tinkering with this bike even thought its the very first bike I built piece by piece. The premium brew frame set was like 225 on ebay or something crazy cheap. I had been riding a cheap Dawes that I just kept throwing upgrades on until I realized I just wanted a better frame. I like the 4130 steel well enough but I have a 531 Raleigh that makes me feel like never riding this bike. I'm thinking of putting a different headset on and seeing if I can rig a shim at the crown so it can do barspins. It worked on the dawes but that had an 1 1/8" threadless. I bought the Brew cause it used a 1" stem but now I miss having at least one bike with an 1 1/8" fork. Anyone wanna trade this for a Rush Hour?

Oh I bought these cranks new back when there was only a few of them, thanks to Bicycle Revolutions and I'll admit for a brief second I was disappointed to see them available again, then realized what a selfish dick thought that really is. The Bike Biz has them online right now, I think.

braze on's

how did you remove the braze ons?

stem

how do you like that stem? I almost got one and im still thinking about it.

Yeah, I like it.

I was actually hoping I would like it flipped, but the angle it petty severe. If this setup could do spins, it would be perfect flipped, with these risers. -Sugary_Otis

stem

I'm still thinking about getting one they seem like a really neat investment.

be careful of the crank, the

be careful of the crank, the 4 bolts that hold the chainring to the arm, can strip out. happened to me, I JB welded them in place. no problems after that.

Thanks

That's cool, I happen to have some. Sweet, a project. Hey I appreciate the heads up. -Sugary_Otis
