What's your price?

I personally like the 2008 Fuji a lot and have heard really good things about it. I could take this bike off your hands, seeing as to how it says its up for sale, so I was wondering what your asking price was (that is if it is still up for sale).

Rookie Week

I am a veteran. Are you a rookie this year? How has the track been? Last year it rained and snowed so much we had track time like once a week. Guess I will see you at the track next week though.

Sounds good.

I ride for the Collins LLC. You guys are pretty hardcore over on TMT from what I understand, you may be out of my league.

Yes.

I have not seen you around campus either. And actually I am training for Little 500 also, so if you ever want to go on a ride let me know.

why not just buy a frameset?

Since you are switching out so many of the components, why didn't you just buy a frameset and build it up from there? You can get a soma rush frame for about the same price as the complete fuji track.

By the way, the armadillos are AWESOME! I got some a couple months ago and I haven't had a flat since. With the stock tires on my langster, I had a flat every other day. Highly recommnded

Ya that would've saved me a

Ya that would've saved me a few bucks. But when I first bought the bike 6 months ago I was just first getting into cycling and didn't have the "know how" to realize I could just buy a frame and build it up exactly how I wanted it. Luckily I did get the bike for 100 off the price tag so I'm not too torn up.

Ya I've heard good things about the armadillos. I wish they were lighter but I guess its an even trade.

I know the feeling.

I did the same thing when I bought my langster a few months ago. I knew I could build up exactly what I wanted, butI figured I would have been fine with the stock bike. Now, all that is staying stock on this bike are the seat post, saddle and headset. The bike I have is the 2007 model and for some reason, my shop still had it in stock when I bought it. It cost me 500, in comparison to the 830 the 2009s are running for. I figured it was a steal!

Although, with all of the stock parts I am taking off of my langster, I am using to build up a beater/work bike. That is one plus I suppose.

A weight difference that small isn't even something to worry about, really. Pushing yourself a bit harder will make up for that. I figure the minimal amount of time I lose from having a slightly heavier tire is far more appealing than spending five minutes sitting on the side of the road changing a tube on a bi-daily basis.

Did you get that bike from the bike biz?

Nope

I just used their picture of a stock fuji track for reference.

Agree on your tire comment.
