This is my snow bike. It's a mix of utility (tire clearance) and luxury (brooks and 75s). As for the tires, after some bone crushing slams, I've put a studded tire on the front and loose pattern knobby on the back to handle the crazy winter we're having. World of difference. Also, I highly recommend the White Industries BB for the 75s from Ben's. I can't live without my 75s!

Hey

Very nice Man! I especially like the front tire clearance of the Surly fork...i miss the possibility of the studded front tire..check my winter beater ...and oh!...i have taken a couples of slams too here in Montreal..(the Cx are great..but for ice ...noting like metal!)

Ride safe Man!

nice

to see another twin cities winter rider!
this makes me want to take the time to post me winter ride on here
