This is my first build. I wanted a classy city/touring/commuter bike. I love the color, especially with the orange panniers- sort of the bicycle version of my Jack Spade bag. The LHT is incredibly stable; it eats the road. The 1X8 setup is perfectly geared for SW Portland. Inspired by french Porteur bikes (hence the front rack and handlebars), but with more commuting/touring ability. I will probably opt for a better wheelset in the future, but this is sufficient for now.
